Anita Cordell

Born in Tulsa, OK, and raised in the Midwest as a preacher's kid, Anita directed her first stage production as a senior in high school, but didn't launch her film and commercial career until her adult hears.  She has been in over 60 independent films, won several Best Actress awards,  including House MotherShiva, and Awaken.  Anita has also been in over 100 commercials, multiple industrial videos, and several music videos. She loves to act and produce and has directed her first feature length documentary, the award winning I Will Rise. You can see her most recent role as Diane Brooks (aka Momma 'D') in Running The Bases, as well as her role as Dr. Gil in Don't Say My Name
